The report is expected to be issued in September by the Brazilian Panel on Climate Change (PBMC), an organization similar to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). \u201cWe didn\u2019t want the country to arrive empty-handed in 2014, when the IPCC releases its next report,\u201d says Ambrizzi, one of the report coordinators. \u201cNow we\u2019ll be able to lay out by biome or area what the IPCC reported for all of South America,\u201d says another of the report\u2019s coordinators, Eduardo Assad of the Brazilian Agricultural Research Organization (Embrapa).
