{"id":125357,"date":"2013-07-24T20:11:52","date_gmt":"2013-07-24T23:11:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/revistapesquisa.fapesp.br\/?p=125357"},"modified":"2013-09-06T18:48:16","modified_gmt":"2013-09-06T21:48:16","slug":"unicamps-theater-archives","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/revistapesquisa.fapesp.br\/en\/unicamps-theater-archives\/","title":{"rendered":"Unicamp&#8217;s Theater Archives"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright  wp-image-125358\" alt=\"010-011_Estrategias_208-4\" src=\"http:\/\/revistapesquisa.fapesp.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/010-011_Estrategias_208-41.jpg\" width=\"290\" height=\"147\" \/><span class=\"media-credits-inline\">Daniel Bueno<\/span>The archives of the Portuguese journalist and poet Jo\u00e3o Apolin\u00e1rio (1924-1988), with over 500 theater critic texts, about 1,200 photographs of plays and 250 programs from plays from the 1960s and 1970s were delivered to the Edgard Leuenroth Archive (AEL) at the University of Campinas (Unicamp), which preserves records of Brazil\u2019s numerous social movements. Apolin\u00e1rio wrote and edited the culture section at the S\u00e3o Paulo newspaper <em>\u00daltima Hora<\/em>. During the military regime (1964-1985), he wrote about Brazilian theater and associated with a generation of well-known directors, playwrights and actors, such as Gianfrancesco Guarnieri, Jos\u00e9 Celso Martinez and Raul Cortez. &#8220;This material is an important facet of Brazilian culture and complements the existing collections,&#8221; said AEL technical director Elaine Marques Zanatta to <em>Ag\u00eancia FAPESP<\/em>.
