In an attempt to draw the public\u2019s attention to this problem the Zoology Museum of the University of S\u00e3o Paulo inaugurated an exhibition in December, entitled \u2018Biodiversity crisis \u2013 Nature threatened\u2019, which is open to the public until May 17.\u00a0\u201cThe difference between what is known and what still needs to be discovered is one of the most serious hindrances to the formulation of efficient measures that will help us achieve an acceptable level of sustainable development\u201d, zoologist, Hussam Zaher, curator of the exhibition, writes on the museum\u2019s website. From the stuffed animals, pictures of insects, which include a splendid variety of butterflies of all shapes and colors, photographs and videos, the public can get some idea of the wealth of Brazilian fauna and flora. Visiting times are from10 a.m. to 5 p.m., from Tuesday to Sunday.
