Upon closer examination, he saw that it was an <a href=\"http:\/\/revistapesquisa.fapesp.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Fotolab_image030.jpg?f7e667\" target=\"_blank\">8.5 millimeter (mm) stem<\/a> that held seven flowers, <a href=\"http:\/\/revistapesquisa.fapesp.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Fotolab_image035-C%C3%B3pia.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">each measuring less than 2 mm.<\/a> He summoned his colleague Edlley Pessoa, of the Federal University of Pernambuco, and together they described a new species: <em>Campylocentrum insulare<\/em>.
