One of the Institute\u2019s missions is to conduct studies on the sustainable exploration of marine resources and environmental preservation, with about 100 researchers from a number of Unesp campuses in fields such as geology, oceanography and natural resources management, as well as researchers from public and private companies. IEAMar will also offer a specialized major in marine resources and a professional master\u2019s degree program in maritime, river and port management.
