Created by meteorologist Luiz Augusto Toledo Machado and software developer Luiz Eduardo Guarino de Vasconcelos, both from the Brazilian National Institute for Space Research (INPE), with a team of six colleagues, the app has already been downloaded 100,000 times. Second place was given to agronomists Luiz Carlos Federizzi and Marcelo Teixeira Pacheco, both from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), who developed oat cultivars for subtropical regions.
