Now, two biologists from the University of S\u00e3o Paulo (USP) have named an ant species in her honor: <em>Hylomyrma lispectorae<\/em>. In a 136-page study, M\u00f4nica Ulyss\u00e9a and Carlos Brand\u00e3o performed a taxonomic review of <em>Hylomyrma<\/em>, a genus of ants found from Mexico to Argentina, and described 14 new species, including <em>H. lispectorae<\/em>, based on a specimen collected in Ecuador (<em>Zootax<\/em>, October), bringing the total number to 30.
