The drug these medications contain\u2014semaglutide \u2014activates glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists (GLP-1RAs) and helps reduce appetite. Experts from Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food, and Life Sciences and Oklahoma State University, both in the USA, analyzed the eating habits of 1,955 people divided into four groups: those who took semaglutide, those who have taken it in the past, those who planned to do so, and those who had never taken it nor intended to.
