Seg\u00fan el secretario de Ciencia y Tecnolog\u00eda de Tocantins, Luiz Carlos Borges da Silveira, el objetivo consiste en dotar al estado de una mayor cantidad de m\u00e1steres y doctores y abrir nuevas perspectivas de convenios federales e internacionales. \u201cLa fundaci\u00f3n dar\u00e1 mayor agilidad a la financiaci\u00f3n de los estudios cient\u00edficos\u201d, afirm\u00f3. Otra de las metas de la secretaria tambi\u00e9n para este a\u00f1o, seg\u00fan Borges da Silveira, es la implementaci\u00f3n del Instituto de Investigaci\u00f3n de Energ\u00edas Renovables del Estado de Tocantins. Mediante la creaci\u00f3n de la fundaci\u00f3n, alcanza a 25 la red de FAP\u2019s en el pa\u00eds.
