El proyecto de investigaci\u00f3n de la nueva variedad de anan\u00e1, denominado IAC-Fant\u00e1stico, fue coordinado por los investigadores Ademar Spironello y Walter Jos\u00e9 Siqueira. Inicialmente, hasta 2012, estar\u00e1n disponibles para los agricultores plantines producidos con cultivos de tejidos de la planta de laboratorio.
