La primera especie de Brasil en ingresar en la lista (la n\u00famero 10) es la tar\u00e1ntula azul sazima (<em>Pterinopelma sazimai<\/em>). Encontrada en campos rupestres [afloramientos rocosos en sabanas y pastizales serranos y de mesetas] y descrita por Rog\u00e9rio Bertani, Roberto Nagahama y Caroline Fukushima, del Instituto Butantan, su nombre es un homenaje al bi\u00f3logo de la Universidad Estadual de Campinas (Unicamp) Ivan Sazima, quien la hall\u00f3 por primera vez.
