La imagen permite identificar el sector espec\u00edfico de donde se alimenta el insecto, en este caso, los vasos del floema, la parte de la planta que conduce la savia y posee presi\u00f3n positiva. La foto tomada por el doctorando Tiago Lucini corrobora los estudios sobre detecci\u00f3n de los sitios espec\u00edficos de alimentaci\u00f3n de las chinches en tejidos vegetales, que se efectuaron en el Laboratorio de Monitoreo Electr\u00f3nico EPG de Embrapa Trigo, en Passo Fundo (Rio Grande do Sul), bajo la coordinaci\u00f3n de Ant\u00f4nio R.
