Luego de una campa\u00f1a de concientizaci\u00f3n en la comunidad de Guapiruvu, en Sete Barras (S\u00e3o Paulo), bi\u00f3logos encabezados por Bruno Rocha, del Museo de Zoolog\u00eda de la Universidad de S\u00e3o Paulo y del Instituto Butantan, demostraron que esa especie de la familia de las boas es inofensiva para los seres humanos y en el mes de enero fueron informados de la captura de un ejemplar.
