El coraz\u00f3n (<em>en la imagen<\/em>) tiene sus particularidades: los vasos sangu\u00edneos entran y salen de la superficie del ventr\u00edculo, de manera similar a lo que puede verse en otros peces de su misma familia en otras partes del pa\u00eds, pero diferente a lo que se conoce de las especies del hemisferio norte, de las cuales hay m\u00e1s estudios.
