Investigadores escoceses lograron reproducir un \u00e1guila europeo a partir de semen congelado guardado en un banco gen\u00e9tico. Thor, el aguilucho, naci\u00f3 al final de mayo pasado en el centro de reproducci\u00f3n del bi\u00f3logo Graham Wishart y del especialista en la especie Andrew Knowles-Bronw. La reproducci\u00f3n de animales raros en laboratorio es dif\u00edcil porque no se conoce exactamente c\u00f3mo funciona el sistema reproductor de las hembras, la ovulaci\u00f3n y la gestaci\u00f3n.
