En el encuentro del a\u00f1o anterior, los brasile\u00f1os presentaron el trabajo con la bacteria <em>Xylella fastidiosa<\/em>, el primer secuenciamiento de un fitopat\u00f3geno. \u201cEn el encuentro de este a\u00f1o, mostramos el mapeamiento de la bacteria <em>Xanthomonas citri<\/em>, y tambi\u00e9n esta vez fuimos el \u00fanico grupo en el congreso que present\u00f3 novedades en esa l\u00ednea\u201d, dice FeARNndo Reinach, uno de los coordinadores del Genoma <em>Xanthomonas<\/em>, junto a Jesus Aparecido Ferro y Ana Cl\u00e1udia Rasera da Silva.
