Por medio de entrevistas con 456 mujeres de 45 a 60 a\u00f1os, un \u00a0equipo de la Universidad Estadual de Campinas (Unicamp) investig\u00f3 la influencia de 22 factores &#8211; la edad, el n\u00famero de hijos, el \u00edndice de masa corporal, el uso de p\u00edldoras anticonceptivas y el tabaquismo &#8211; sobre esas oleadas de calores, que en general empiezan por el pecho y suben hasta el rostro, quemando como fuego.
