{"id":90617,"date":"2002-04-01T00:00:12","date_gmt":"2002-04-01T03:00:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/revistapesquisa.fapesp.br\/?p=90617"},"modified":"2015-04-24T15:53:36","modified_gmt":"2015-04-24T18:53:36","slug":"vahan-agopyan-asume-en-la-poli","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/revistapesquisa.fapesp.br\/es\/vahan-agopyan-asume-en-la-poli\/","title":{"rendered":"Vahan Agopyan asume en la Poli"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Vahan Agopyan, miembro del Consejo Superior de la FAPESP, asumi\u00f3 el d\u00eda 11 de marzo la direcci\u00f3n de la Escuela Polit\u00e9cnica de la Universidad de S\u00e3o Paulo (Poli\/USP), en la cual se gradu\u00f3 como ingeniero civil y curs\u00f3 su maestr\u00eda en el \u00e1rea de ingenier\u00eda urbana y de construcci\u00f3n civil. En 1982 se doctor\u00f3 en ingenier\u00eda civil en el King\u2019s College London; en 1991 se transform\u00f3 en libre docente en materiales y componentes de construcci\u00f3n civil, y en 1994 pas\u00f3 a ser profesor titular en esa misma \u00e1rea en la Poli\/USP.<\/p>\n<p>Agopyan integra diversas instituciones cient\u00edficas de Brasil y del exterior, y fue vicedirector de la Poli entre 1998 y 2002. Dirigi\u00f3 20 tesis de maestr\u00eda y 19 de doctorado, adem\u00e1s de publicar m\u00e1s de 130 art\u00edculos completos en peri\u00f3dicos, libros y anales de congresos nacionales e internacionales.
