El desaf\u00edo de los estudiosos consiste en descubrir si los sitios en donde se registraron los brotes de la enfermedad tienen caracter\u00edsticas ecol\u00f3gicas comunes.<\/p>\n<p>Si se detecta una convergencia en los datos, ser\u00e1 posible crear un modelo capaz de identificar potenciales \u201creservorios\u201d del virus. \u201cEn Gab\u00f3n y en el Congo, la periodicidad de los brotes indica que existen factores ambientales que promueven la enfermedad\u201d, dice el investigador Ghislain Moussavou (<em>BBC<\/em>, 21 de julio).
