Pese a que es monitoreado desde hace tres a\u00f1os mediante un proyecto que agrupa a tres universidades de la zona, la Universidad de Pernambuco (UPE), la Universidad Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE) y la Universidad Federal Rural de Pernambuco (UFRPE), perdura el misterio: \u00bfc\u00f3mo es que el \u00e1rbol del mangle blanco (<em>Laguncularia racemosa<\/em>), que crece en \u00c1frica y en Brasil, lleg\u00f3 hasta all\u00ed?
