Actualmente, el instituto \u2013uno de los n\u00facleos de la ONG Future Harvest, que fomenta proyectos de desarrollo agr\u00edcola y ecol\u00f3gico con el apoyo de 50 pa\u00edses\u2013 funciona en el estado de Andhra Pradesh, en la India. La propuesta surgi\u00f3 en Washington, durante la \u00faltima reuni\u00f3n del Consejo Consultivo para la Investigaci\u00f3n Agr\u00edcola Internacional, que administra la ONG.<\/p>\n<p>La intenci\u00f3n ser\u00eda fortalecer la posici\u00f3n de los puestos m\u00e1s carentes de la organizaci\u00f3n en Kenia, Nigeria y Zimbabwe. El cuerpo t\u00e9cnico del instituto y los investigadores indios desaprueban la mudanza, pues temen que sus proyectos queden relegados a un segundo plano.
