Este pueblo se ubica en el municipio de Araioses, Maranh\u00e3o, que registra el quinto lugar entre los peores en el \u00cdndice de Desarrollo Humano de Brasil.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\"> En sociedad con el Ibama, la Universidad Federal de Piau\u00ed y organizaciones no gubernamentales, Embrapa plantea entre otras acciones la introducci\u00f3n de sistemas de elaboraci\u00f3n de miel de abejas nativas, de agricultura familiar y de beneficiado del cangrejo.
