Ci-contre, les branches de l\u2019\u00e9toile bris\u00e9e sont en bleu et l\u2019or se trouve au centre, en jaune. Les images ont \u00e9t\u00e9 prises \u00e0 l\u2019aide\u00a0 d\u2019un microscope \u00e9lectronique \u00e0 balayage \u00e0 effet de champ, agrandies 80 mille fois et color\u00e9es par ordinateur par Eder Guidelli, doctorant de la Facult\u00e9 de Philosophie, Sciences et lettres de Ribeir\u00e3o Preto (FFCLRP), de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de S\u00e3o Paulo (USP). Guidelli, dont la th\u00e8se est dirig\u00e9e par Oswaldo Baffa, \u00e9tudie l\u2019application de la nanotechnologie en physique m\u00e9dicale pour le d\u00e9veloppement de nanomat\u00e9riaux utilis\u00e9s pour la d\u00e9tection de rayons X.
