Invisible worlds appear in the images obtained through a scanning electron microscope. The photograph above shows a bouquet of the protozoan Phytomonas françai seen in its natural environment, the latex ducts in manioc leaves. The parasite causes the so-called isoporization of roots. In other words, the roots shrink.
