Pesquisa FAPESP was the winner of the 2023 Einstein Most Admired in Health, Science, and Wellbeing Award in the Specialized Vehicle in Scientific Journalism category. The magazine beat two other finalists in the category—Jornal da USP and Agência Fiocruz de Notícias—in a two-round online vote by journalists and corporate communications, marketing, and advertising professionals. Agência FAPESP, which won the award in the News Agency category for the last two years, was once again among the three finalists, but this year the winner was Agência Brasil. Luiza Caires from Jornal da USP won in the general Science Journalist category and Claudia Collucci from Folha de S.Paulo won Science Journalist from the Southeast Region. In the category for Most Admired Journalist in Health, Science, and Wellbeing, first place was awarded to Paula Felix, a health reporter for the magazine Veja. Oncologist Drauzio Varella was named the Most Admired Columnist. Other publications honored with awards included BBC News Brazil (in the Digital Channel category), DrauzioCast (Podcasts), Fantástico (TV Programs), Portal Drauzio Varella (Websites), and Folha de S.Paulo (Print). The awards were established three years ago by Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein, in partnership with the website Jornalistas&Cia.
