An exhibit featuring information about the anatomy of the heart and how it works, the circulatory system, and the main components of blood, called Ways of the heart opened November 1, 2012 and will remain open through March 31, 2013 at the Science Station of the University of São Paulo (USP). The display is part of the ‘Mobile Science – Life and Health for All’ project, a traveling science museum that circulates along a route developed out of the partnership between the pharmaceutical company Sanofi and the Museum of Life at the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz). The exhibit, which consists of multimedia terminals, 3D videos, and rows of microscopes in addition to a heart that measures over two meters high make up the exhibit that has already received over 400,000 visitors.
