The new dean of the Federal University of São Paulo, Walter Manna Albertoni, was instated on February 11th and announced his team of deputy deans. Arnaldo Lopes Colombo, professor from the Department of Medicine, was appointed as the dean of Post-Graduate Studies and Research. Miguel Roberto Jorge, assistant professor at the Department of Psychiatry, was appointed as the Dean of Graduate Studies. Eleonora Menicucci de Oliveira, professor at the Department of Preventive Medicine, was appointed as the dean of Extension Studies. Vilnei Mattioli Leite, professor at the Department of Orthopedics and Trauma was appointed as the dean for Administrative Matters. The term of Dean Albertoni, who is a professor at the Department of Orthopedics and Trauma, will expire in 2013.
