Beehive and Dalton’s Atoms are photographs of aluminum oxide and zinc oxide nanoparticles, imaged through high-resolution electron microscopy and colorized by researchers and technicians at the Interdisciplinary Laboratory of Electrochemistry and Ceramics at São Paulo State University (Liec/Unesp). The images were shown as part of an exhibit at the 3rd International Festival of NanoArt, held in Romania in September 2014.
