In partnership with restorers and museologists, nuclear physicist Márcia Rizzuto’s team, from USP, used several techniques stemming from physics and chemistry to study paintings by Candido Portinari. The findings can help confirm authorship of a painting found in what used to be his home and now is the Portinari House Museum.
