In commemoration of 100 years of Fiocruz, which took place on 25th May, the award Prêmio Fundação Oswaldo Cruz – Grou EMS Sigma Pharma of Science and Technology in Health was launched in Rio de Janeiro on the 16th of March. Divided into seven categories, the award will be given to researchers and doctors with scientific work relevant to the areas of natural products, molecular biology, vectors of endemic diseases, parasitical and infectious diseases, hypertension, solid organ transplants and public health.
