Invited to produce panels for the United Nations (U.N.), the painter Cândido Portinari reproduced war and peace as pain and happiness. The powerful works of art came back to Brazil 53 years later, in 2010, for restoration. With the dust removed and the colors renewed, the works of art should be exhibited in São Paulo in the second quarter. Above, War before restoration.
